I want to pre-order the sequel now!
Thank You, Ms. Steinsiek!

Great Book, An easier way of learning C# and Window FormsI like the well-planned layout of the book; it is one of the most reader friendly books I have even seen. This book helps you to learn a lot of important concepts in a very natural way. On each topic discussed, the related class tables are right there for you, and the operation tables guide you step by step the actions you need to take to accomplish the project it explains clearly and shows you the result in each action you take side by side. Inside the book appendix you also find a list of useful websites for related/further study.
This is a great book for learning C# and Windows Forms, it is easy to read and easy to understand.
Not A Reference - This Is a Must Have Learning BookI just had to work through this book cover-to-cover and I NEVER do that with these books - I usually just look up what I think I need to know. Brown's leading me by the nose worked; I learned a lot more (as a current C++ and Java programmer) about C# than I might have otherwise. If you're looking for a reference book, this is not it; context is too important to the understanding of the parts. It is, I think, deliberately a clear learning book and, as I say in the title of this review, a Must Have learning book for Windows .NET Forms.
So what's your next topic, Eric?
Best tech book I've ever read

A peek into a child's world
I wish I could give these books to every child in the worldRunaway Bunny is just beautiful, the watercolor paintings of a mother and child are fanciful and loving, and seem to come straight from a child's imagination. The theme is especially helpful for clingy children, reassuring them there will always be enough love to sustain them.
The Big Red Barn is simply the most enchanting book of farm animals I have ever seen, with lively colors and a story that intrigues my daughter so much, this is the first book she was content to sit down with and "read" all alone.
Three children's classics in board form will delight

No Landlord Should Be Without This Guide!
Landlords best friend
I couldn't recommend this book ENOUGH!!!

Tassajara (and Ed Brown) stand the Test of TimeOil stains, flour stains, unidentifiable traces of the years, I don't think I'll ever part with my original copy, but with binding paste falling out now each time I open it and the cover unattached, I think it's time to get an updated copy. You won't go wrong with this book!
Like Having a Trusted Friend By Your Side...If you scrupulously follow the introductory instructions for the basic Tassajara bread, you will be able to make any kind of bread from scratch, by hand, guaranteed. Just now I have two gorgeous loaves of millet bread in the oven, and this is just my second time making bread by hand. Thea author, Edward Brown, tells you precisely how the dough should look, how it should feel, and how to know when you are finished kneading. You simply cannot go wrong.
I have the other "bible" of bread making, James Beard's book, and, much as I adore James Beard, I prefer the Tassajara method of bread-making. There is less guesswork, and less seems to go wrong.
And I love the spiritual side, the bliss-out and enjoy-the-moment side to the book, as well. I will never, ever part with this book.
A Nicely-written Bread BookThe Tassajara Basic Yeasted Bread is discussed in detail. Chapters on yeasted bread, yeasted pastry, unyeasted bread, sourdough, pancakes, muffins and quickbreads, and desserts follow. Recipes stress the use of natural foods and grains. Most recipes include alternate ingredient suggestions.
I first used this cookbook to make the Tassajara Basic Yeasted Bread. I never before had made bread. The whole wheat dough was stiff. Mixing the dough was extremely hard work. Kneading the dough was agony. Making this bread taught me respect both for bread and for anyone who makes bread.
I recently rediscovered this cookbook while seeking a cornbread/muffin recipe that did not use shortening. I made muffins substituting molasses for honey and adding marjoram. My muffins were excellent both alone and with bean dishes.
Cooking is vastly underrated. One who cooks economically and maintains a clean, safe household is free to "Be All That You Can Be", an accomplishment that would make an Army drill sergeant or a Zen master proud. Mr. Brown's writing reflects that pride.

Loved It
Amazing story of Stevie Wonder AND his motherJOURNEY OF LULA HARDAWAY, STEVIE WONDER'S MOTHER
by Dennis Love and Stacy Brown . . . it is an authorized biography
of Wonder and his mother, based on interviews with the both
of them.
I had listened to Wonder's music over the years, but did not know
too much about his background . . . how he achieved the
success that he did is nothing short of amazing, especially
given his blindness.
He comes across as a talented worker not fazed by his blindness,
along with being a loving son, a prankster and a womanizer . . . his
mother's tale of devotion was particularly moving, though I would
have liked to have heard more about what happened to her
after her son's success . . . I'm also curious as to what
happened to his brothers since very little information is given
about them.
The narration by Viola Davis was excellent; so much so, in fact,
that I want to find more about her . . . I'll be curious to find out if
she has read other books and/or appeared on screen.
A striking story
